Bottom line

ICIMS is a configurable enterprise applicant tracking system with AI screening, interview tools and text recruiting for large or high-volume hiring teams. Its clearest strength is how far it can be adapted to an organization's process and how many systems it connects to. The main cost to watch is pricing, which is not published and requires a sales conversation, and there is no free plan. Enterprises and high-volume employers with complex hiring requirements should evaluate it first.

What is ICIMS?

ICIMS is an enterprise applicant tracking system and recruiting platform built for talent acquisition teams that manage large volumes of candidates. It covers the hiring process from job posting and application intake through interviews, offers and onboarding, replacing the spreadsheets and disconnected inboxes that slow hiring at scale. The company serves more than 4,400 companies across 200 countries, including a quarter of the Fortune 500.

Recruiters manage requisitions, job postings and candidate pipelines in one system. Resume parsing and AI candidate scoring rank applicants against role requirements, and human reviewers make the final decisions. Teams can turn AI features on or off at any step. Interview scheduling, live video interviews and panel interviews run inside the platform, and text recruiting lets teams message candidates by SMS. Hiring managers track pipeline progress through dashboards and reports.

The platform is sold to small businesses, mid-size companies and enterprises, though its marketing centers on large employers. Retail, healthcare, manufacturing and finance employers use it for high-volume roles. The Cheesecake Factory describes hiring more than 30,000 people a year on the platform. ICIMS does not publish a starting price. Pricing comes through a sales conversation, and a free trial is available. There is no free plan.

What sets ICIMS apart is configurability and integration depth. Fields, templates, workflows and reports can be adjusted to match how an organization hires rather than forcing one standard process. The ICIMS Partner Ecosystem includes more than 800 technology and advisory partners and more than 10,000 active integrations, including ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro, Hirevue, Docusign, Calendly and ZipRecruiter. Its Responsible AI program includes an independent certification from TrustArc.
