Bottom line

RXNT is an integrated medical software suite that combines EHR, e-prescribing, practice management, and billing on a web-based platform. Its clearest strength is the breadth of connected workflows, including an integrated clearinghouse and central billing office reporting at no added fee. The main cost to watch is that core suite pricing is not broken out publicly, and the core software has no free plan. Practices and billing companies that want one system for clinical and financial tasks should consider it, while buyers wanting a low-cost standalone tool should compare alternatives.

Choose RXNT ifmedical practices needing EHR, prescribing, and billing in one system, or billing companies managing claims for multiple clients.
Look elsewhere ifbuyers who want published per-plan pricing before a demo, or organizations requiring on-premises deployment.

What is RXNT?

RXNT is cloud-based medical software from Networking Technology, Inc., doing business as RXNT. The company was founded in 1999, and its first product, electronic prescribing, launched publicly in 2001. RXNT is built for medical practices and billing companies that need prescribing, charting, scheduling, and billing connected in one system rather than assembled from separate tools. Its product line includes electronic health records, practice management, e-prescribing, patient engagement, medical scheduling, telehealth, and software for billing companies.

Providers use the EHR for custom charting, clinical notes, lab orders and results, medication history and alerts, and immunization and allergy tracking. They can prescribe electronically, including controlled substances under EPCS requirements. Practice management covers appointment scheduling with reminders and no-show tracking, insurance eligibility verification, claims management with claim scrubbing, and electronic payments. Patients can view and pay statements through a patient portal, and the MyRXNT app provides mobile access. Ambient IQ records a patient visit from a mobile device, transcribes the conversation, and produces a clinical note that can be copied into the EHR.

The software serves medical practices across specialties, with specialty versions for dermatology, neurology, OBGYN, orthopedics, pain management, mental health, hospice, and assisted living. Billing companies and centralized billing offices can manage claims for multiple practices from one account. Central billing office reporting is included at no additional fee, and a charge uploader handles unbilled charges in bulk batches. The starting price for the core software is $32. Ambient IQ is offered with a 90-day free trial, then $75 per month.

What sets RXNT apart is that it covers clinical and financial work in a single system. An integrated clearinghouse means billers do not need a separate tool to submit claims or check claim and payment status. The company has its roots in e-prescribing and has added AI-powered documentation through Ambient IQ, which is also offered as a standalone product. Many competing tools handle only scheduling or only billing, while RXNT links those workflows to the clinical record.
