DealerCenter review
Bottom line
DealerCenter is a dealer management system that puts desking, lender submissions, inventory, CRM, accounting, and dealer websites on one platform. Its clearest strength is breadth: a dealership can run most of its daily operations from one login and a mobile app. The main cost to watch is that many add-ons, including vehicle valuations, history reports, credit pulls, and marketing services, are priced separately and stack on top of the base subscription. It suits independent used car and buy here, pay here dealers who want to consolidate their software.
What is DealerCenter?
DealerCenter is a web-based dealer management system built for car dealerships, with a mobile app that runs alongside it. It combines desking, deal structuring, inventory, customer relationship management, accounting, service, and reconditioning in one login. Dealers use it to replace the separate tools many lots run for each of those jobs.
Day to day, a salesperson can build deal structures in the desking tool, compare financing options without affecting the customer's credit, and send a credit application to lenders. Submitted deals go to more than 1,200 lenders through RouteOne and Dealertrack, and the same platform handles electronic contracts, titling, and temp tags. Leads from listings, the website, and Facebook Messenger land in the CRM, where staff can assign them to reps, log calls, send texts and email, and record calls. Accounting posts journal entries to the general ledger and syncs with QuickBooks Online.
The platform is aimed at independent used car dealers, including buy here, pay here operations that need collections, recurring ACH payments, and Datalinx credit bureau reporting. The DMS plan starts at $99 per month, the buy here, pay here module is $50 per month, and CRM Pro is $199 per month. Per the pricing page, products include unlimited users, free training, and support, and a free trial is available. Vehicle valuations, AutoCheck reports, and credit bureau pulls are billed separately, by subscription or per report.
What sets DealerCenter apart from single-purpose tools is how many dealer functions it covers in one system. Its website builder, digital ad posting, and AI tools for vehicle videos and sales responses sit next to the DMS, so inventory and leads move between them without re-entry. Lender submissions, credit bureau access, and title services are built in as well, which reduces the number of outside vendors a store has to manage.
