JobNimbus review
Bottom line
JobNimbus is a roofing-focused CRM that connects sales, job tracking, invoicing, and payments in one system. Its clearest strength is the depth of its contractor workflow, from SumoQuote proposals and EagleView measurements to text-to-pay and a two-way QuickBooks sync. The main cost to watch is the $300 per user per month starting price, which multiplies across every seat on a crew. Roofing and exterior contractors with office and field staff who already run QuickBooks should evaluate it first.
What is JobNimbus?
JobNimbus is a customer relationship management and job management platform built mainly for roofing contractors, with the same tools used by siding, gutter, and fence companies. It gives a contracting business one place to track leads, customers, estimates, jobs, and invoices, replacing the spreadsheets, texts, and paper files that often leave leads unanswered and completed work unbilled.
Day to day, a salesperson logs a lead, sends a text or email from inside the app, and builds an estimate or proposal. SumoQuote, now part of JobNimbus, produces proposals that homeowners can sign on the spot. Once a job is sold, it moves across job boards that show each stage, and office staff can turn an estimate into an invoice with a click. Crews attach annotated photos, and aerial roof measurements from EagleView can be ordered from the job and filed to its folder. The iOS and Android apps let field staff update jobs, photos, and teams from the field, while the web app covers the office.
Freelancers, small businesses, and mid-size companies use JobNimbus, and the vendor's case studies feature roofing and fence firms of varying sizes. Pricing starts at $300 per user per month, and a 14-day trial is available without a credit card. There is no free plan. Customers can accept credit, debit, and ACH payments through JobNimbus Payments, and the company states that it charges no monthly or annual fees on processing.
What sets JobNimbus apart is how closely its workflows follow a roofing sales and billing process. Estimating, aerial measurements, customer financing through Sunlight Financial, and a two-way QuickBooks sync covering both Online and Desktop all sit inside the same record as the customer and job. Its payments page compares its own rates, 3.2% for credit and debit and 1% for ACH with a $50 cap, against QuickBooks Payments, which is the kind of direct comparison a buyer can check against their current costs.
