Bottom line

ABC Trainerize is a coaching platform that puts programming, nutrition logging, habit tracking, and client messaging into one app for personal trainers. Its clearest strength is the breadth of client-facing tools, including a large exercise library, an AI workout builder, and a white-label mobile app. The main cost to watch is the stack of add-ons, since video coaching, advanced nutrition, and the Business add-on are priced separately from the base plans. Independent trainers and small studios that coach online, in person, or in hybrid formats should consider it first.

Choose ABC Trainerize ifindependent personal trainers, or small studios with a team of trainers.
Look elsewhere ifgym owners who need class management and front-desk workflows, or coaches who need unlimited video calling on a lower-tier plan.

What is ABC Trainerize?

ABC Trainerize is a coaching platform for personal trainers, fitness coaches, and studios that runs on the web and on iOS and Android. It combines workout programming, nutrition tracking, habit coaching, and client communication in one app, so trainers spend less time moving between spreadsheets, messaging apps, and payment tools. ABC Fitness acquired the company in September 2020. The vendor reports more than 400,000 trainers and coaches and 1.6 million clients on the platform.

Day to day, trainers build programs from scratch or copy a template. They can draw on a library of more than 2,100 professionally filmed exercises, or use the AI Workout Builder, which drafts a structured workout from a client's goals and preferences. Clients log meals by photo, barcode, or meal library search. Coaches can schedule habits, track streaks, and award badges. Messaging covers one-to-one and group conversations, voice messages, and automated messages. Appointments and classes can be booked in the app and synced to Apple or Android calendars. Wearable data from Apple Health, Garmin, Fitbit, and Withings can flow into each client's profile.

Independent trainers, gyms and studios, and clubs and franchises all use the platform. Pricing starts with a free Basic plan that includes one coaching client. The Grow plan costs $9 per month, Pro 5 costs $23 per month for 5 to 200 clients, and Studio Plus costs $248 per month for established businesses, with custom pricing for each added location. Add-ons such as Video Coaching, Advanced Nutrition Coaching, and the Business add-on are sold separately. A 30-day free trial is available without a credit card.

The product's focus is the trainer-client coaching relationship. It is not built around facility operations such as front-desk workflows and class scheduling for an entire gym. Trainers can white-label the mobile app under their own brand, and the Pro plan includes a Custom Branded App for a one-time setup fee of $169. Studio users can connect ABC Glofox, MindBody, and ABC Ignite, though those integrations require the Studio or Enterprise plan.
