Deals FAQ
Short answers. If yours isn't here, ask on the deal page or contact us.
Buying
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your codes, refund button and order history live on your account, so you need to sign in before checkout. It's free.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Can I buy several deals at once?
Yes. Add deals to your cart and check out once. Each deal still gets its own order, codes and refund window.
Do you accept promo codes?
Yes, when we run them. Enter the code on the Stripe checkout page.
Is sales tax or VAT added?
Prices shown are what you pay at checkout unless the checkout page shows tax for your location.
Codes and redemption
When do I get my code?
Usually within seconds of payment, on your My products page and by email. A few vendors activate accounts by email instead; those deals say so on the page and finish within one business day.
I can't find my code.
Open My products in the deals menu. Every code you've bought is there with a copy button. If a paid order shows no code after a few minutes, contact us with the order number.
How do I redeem?
Use the redemption link on your order, sign in or create an account on the vendor's site, and paste the code. The deal page lists the exact steps.
Can I stack codes?
Only where the deal says so. The tier lists how many codes it includes, and the terms say the stacking limit.
Can I give a code to someone else?
Before it's redeemed, usually yes, but check the deal terms. After redemption the license belongs to that vendor account.
Refunds
What's the refund window?
60 days from purchase unless the deal states a different window. The exact date is on each order.
How do I get a refund?
Open the order and click Request a refund. It's processed immediately, the code is deactivated, and the money returns to your card in 5–10 business days.
Can I refund one deal from a cart order?
Yes. Each deal in a cart is its own order with its own refund button.
What if I already redeemed the code?
You can still refund inside the window. The vendor deactivates the license on their side.
Trust
Does running a deal change a product's score?
No. Scores come from our testing and the published methodology. The deal page links to the review so you can judge for yourself.
What if the vendor shuts down?
Lifetime means the lifetime of the product, not yours. That's the real risk of any lifetime deal, and why we link every deal to an independent review and keep the refund window.
Who am I buying from?
Best Software Reviewed sells the code and handles payment, delivery and refunds. The vendor provides the software and support for it.
