Terms of sale
These terms cover buying deals on the marketplace. Use of the site generally is covered by our terms of use.
1. What you're buying
A deal is a license code or account activation for a third-party software product, on the plan and terms shown on the deal page at the time of purchase. Best Software Reviewed sells the code and handles payment, delivery and refunds. The vendor provides the software, hosts your data and supports the product.
2. Lifetime and annual access
"Lifetime" means access to the plan described for the life of the product as offered by the vendor, not a guarantee that the product will exist forever. "Annual" deals give twelve months of access from redemption and do not renew automatically. Features, limits and stacking rules are those listed in the deal's tiers and terms.
3. Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are charged in full at checkout through Stripe. We confirm the price, tier and stock at checkout; if something changed since you added it to your cart, checkout tells you before you pay.
4. Delivery
Codes are delivered to your account and by email once payment clears. Deals marked for vendor activation are fulfilled by the vendor within one business day. If a code can't be issued, we refund the order in full.
5. Refunds
You may refund any deal within 60 days of purchase, or the window stated on the deal, as set out in the refund policy. Refunding deactivates the license.
6. Redemption and the vendor's terms
Redeeming a code creates or upgrades an account with the vendor, and the vendor's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of their product. We share your name, email and order details with the vendor only to provision and support your license.
7. Reviews and questions
Buyer reviews and questions you post are public. Don't include personal or confidential information. We may remove content that breaks our review guidelines.
8. Our independence
Vendors pay us a share of deal sales. That never changes a product's score, ranking or review content. See our advertising disclosure.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any deal is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
