Connecteam is a workforce management app for businesses whose staff work away from a desk, such as cleaners, security guards, retail and food service crews, and field technicians. It combines scheduling, time tracking, communication, and HR tasks in one app, so managers can stop running operations across spreadsheets, text threads, and separate tools. Employees use it from their phones, and managers see the work from a web account.
Day to day, managers build schedules with auto-scheduling, which fills shifts based on availability and requirements, along with repeating shifts and weekly templates. Staff can claim open shifts or request swaps, and managers can set approval rules. Employees clock in with GPS, geofences limit clock-ins to a set site, and auto clock-out ends a shift when a worker leaves. Timesheets feed into payroll. Staff complete checklists and forms with photos and signatures, and managers track progress by site. Team chat and company updates show which employees have read each message.
