Bottom line

Pipeline CRM is a sales pipeline tool with configurable stages, custom fields, forecasting, and no-code automations, and its managed Pipeline Connect service sets it apart from self-serve competitors. Its clearest strength is that a team can describe a sales process in plain English and have Copilot build the pipeline, subject to user permissions and confirmation settings. The main costs to watch are the lack of a free plan, the beta status of Copilot, and the per-plan limits on pipelines and active deals. Small and mid-size B2B teams that want a flexible pipeline with managed integrations should consider it first.

Choose Pipeline CRM ifsmall and mid-size B2B sales teams, or construction, contracting, and professional services firms.
Look elsewhere ifbuyers who need a free plan for an unlimited team, or teams that need a published price for enterprise-scale deployments.

What is Pipeline CRM?

Pipeline CRM, formerly PipelineDeals, is sales pipeline software for small and mid-size B2B teams. It tracks deals through stages the team defines, keeps contacts and companies in linked records, and forecasts revenue by stage. The company was founded in 2006 by JP Werlin and Nick Bertolino and has been part of saas.group since 2021. It addresses the gap between spreadsheets and heavyweight enterprise suites, giving sales managers a configurable pipeline without requiring a specialist to build it.

Day to day, reps work from a pipeline view with stages, win probabilities, and an activity log on every record. Each record accepts custom fields, and required, locked, and conditional fields keep data consistent across the team. Automations run when a deal is created, a stage changes, a field updates, or a set number of days passes. They can create tasks, send emails, update fields, assign owners, and apply task templates, and each run appears on the record's activity feed. Email sync and templates add the communication layer, and Pipeline Phone logs calls with recordings and transcripts. Copilot, currently in beta, builds pipelines, fields, task templates, automations, and reports from a plain-English description. Users choose Auto mode, where changes happen immediately, or Strict mode, where Copilot asks before anything is created, updated, or deleted.

Pricing is per user. Start costs $25 per user per month billed annually, Develop costs $33, and Grow costs $49, with Enterprise priced on request. Every plan includes pipeline management, contact management, deal and activity reporting, and unlimited file storage. A 14-day free trial runs on the Grow plan without a credit card. Teams that want outside tools connected can add Pipeline Connect from $99 a month for up to five integrations. The product serves freelancers, small businesses, mid-size businesses, and enterprises, with dedicated solution pages for construction and contractors, manufacturing, logistics, and professional services.

What sets Pipeline CRM apart is the combination of configurable depth and a managed service layer. Pipeline Connect has the vendor map fields, handle duplicate matching, and monitor each sync after it goes live, so a failed connection surfaces as a message rather than a gap in a report. Copilot never works beyond the permissions of the person using it, and admins can enforce Strict mode across the account or block deletion of records and configuration entirely. Add-ons such as Data Enrichment and Email Validation are flat monthly fees that apply on any tier.
